The main research direction is the research on fiber reinforced composite material (FRP) for structural performance and life improvement and its integrated enhanced lightweight, high durability and large span structure.Presided over research on national key research and development project 1, the national natural science fund of 4, twelfth five-year science and technology support project subproject 1, Jiangsu province transportation hall major projects and other national or provincial research projects, and as the backbone to participate in the 973 plan project, 863 project, the Chinese Academy of Engineering consulting projects and other national key research projects.More than 100 academic papers have been published, including 72 SCI papers ( One work / newsletter 58,25 first papers of Chinese Academy of Sciences, 27 Top journal papers, 18 ASCE journal papers).In SCI, he cited more than 800 times, in Scopus, he cited more than 1,000 times, and in h-index for 20. Main / participated in the compilation of 10 national, industry and group standards and specifications.We have applied for 27 invention patents and authorized 12 patents.In 2019, he won Outstanding Young Scholar of Construction Engineering (1 person in this field every two years, FRP Applied Technology Professional Committee of China Civil Engineering Society), won the first prize of Science and Technology Progress and second prize of Technical Invention of Ministry of Education, first prize of Chinese Highway Society and third prize of Science and Technology of Jiangsu Province.
The co-chair, one of the most important international conferences in FRP civil engineering: FRPRCS-12 (launched by ACI in early 1990s and first held in China) and APFIS-2015 (IIFC official meeting) joint meetings; and the first International Basalt Fiber and Composite Materials Conference (ICBFC-2019), 8 other domestic meetings.Invited received 21 invited reports from domestic and international conferences.
